Original Apple OSX 10.4.2 (Tiger) system install disks for Aluminium PowerBook G4 15" & 17" models. This is a 2-disk DVD set which will install a complete fresh system. The disk set includes intergrated Apple Hardware Test. These disks are branded for the PowerBook G4 and will only work directly on Aluminium PowerBook G4s although they may be purchased with the optional burned copy of a generic 10.4 installer. The generic installer cannot be purchased on it's own, only when purchased with a legitimate original copy of 10.4
Once installed, the system can be upgraded to the latest revision of Tiger (10.4.11) for free via the software update preferences panel. The disks will not work directly on the first versions of this range i.e. the 12" 867MHz or the 15" & 17" 1GHz models.

This is a used, tested disk set from a recycled PowerBook G4.
