Original Apple OSX 10.4.2 (Tiger) system install disks from an Aluminium PowerBook G4. This is a 2-disk DVD set which will install a complete fresh system. The disk set includes intergrated Apple Hardware Test and Mac OS 9.2. These disks are branded for the PowerBook G4 will only work directly on Aluminium PowerBook G4s. They will not work on the first versions of this range i.e. the 12" 867MHz or the 15" & 17" 1GHz models. The system can be installed on any Mac capable of running MacOSX 10.4 by connecting it via FireWire target disk mode to a suitable Aluminium PowerBook G4 and using the Aluminium PowerBook as a host to instal onto the desired Mac's own drive. As an option, we can supply this disk set with a DVD-R backup copy of a generic 10.4 installer by selecting it from the option list below. Please note that this is not providing you with an illegal license as it is only supplied with legitimate original Apple disks and only allows you to more easily perform an instal which you could perform anyway as described above.

This is a used, tested disk set from a recycled PowerBook G4.
