3D printed CRT yoke protection cap for the internal 9" monochrome CRT (cathode ray tube) used in the original Macintosh 128K, 512K, Plus, SE & SE/30 models. The rear of the tube is extremely fragile and the slightest knock can crack the glass. This cap is precisely design to snap firmly over the fragile part to provide protection when the CRT is removed from the machine for storage or shipping. It can also be used while working inside the Mac to prevent accidentally knocking the yoke. The part is printed using PLA+ for additional strength.
NOTE: The cap is NOT intended to be used when the Macintosh is on and it does NOT provide protection from from electric shock.
